LAWTON, Okla. – The no. 16 ranked Cameron men's tennis team took down Seminole State College 6-3 on Saturday to move to 5-4 on the season.
 
CU won all three of their doubles' matches, as Felipe Oyarzun and Mateo Velasco took down SSC's top doubles team 8-5, while the pairing of Andres Velasco and Bruno Babic also won 8-5 in the two doubles match. In the three doubles spot, Vinicius Santos and Julen Gutierrez won 8-2 to secure the doubles sweep.
 
The two teams split the singles matches, as Cameron won in the two, four, and five spots. Babic secured a point for the Aggies in the two spot, winning 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, while M. Velasco won 7-5, 6-1 in the four spot and Gutierrez won in three sets in the five spot. Santos lost 7-6, 6-2 to Seminole's top singles player, as Oyarzun lost in three sets in the three spot and Keiran President fell in two in the sixth spot.
 
Seminole State, who is third in the ITA JUCO rankings, is now 6-2 this spring.
 
Cameron will conclude their three match home stand on Sunday as they host Ferris State with the match to start at noon.
