LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron men's and women's tennis teams are preparing for the Lone Star Conference championship that will take place April 21-22 at the Arlington Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas.

Action starts Friday, April 21, with the women's quarterfinals at 10 a.m. followed by the men's semifinals at 2 p.m. and women's semifinals at 6 p.m. Both the men's and women's championship games will be played Saturday, April 22 starting at 10 a.m.
LSC TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRALÂ
The regular LSC season champion Aggie men will debut in the No.1 seed against No. 4 UT Permian Basin for Friday's semifinal. Cameron most recently defeated the Falcons in a 5-4 decision to close out the regular season last week. The win brought CU a perfect 3-0 LSC record for their third league title, and they are 14-10 on the year.
Joining them on the men's bracket is No. 2 Western New Mexico and No. 3 Midwestern State.
As a team, the Cameron men are ranked No. 25 in the nation and are second in the South Central region.
Competing for the Aggie men in order of singles will be
Vinicius Santos,
Bruno Babic,
Felipe Oyarzun,
Mateo Velasco, Julien Gutierrez and
Keiran President.
Santos is ranked No. 50 in the nation in singles play and is No. 1 in the region. He is 14-6 overall and 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents. He enters the LSC championships on a three match win streak.
In the second slot, Babic is tenth in the region and is 13-8 overall, while in the third spot Oyarzun is 15th regionally, holding a 11-12 overall record and perfect 3-0 in the LSC.
On the doubles side, the first pairing of
Felipe Oyarzun/
Mateo Velasco are No. 13 in the nation and second in the region. They are 18-6 overall and have went 7-3 over their last ten matches.
In the second doubles slot competing for CU is
Bruno Babic/
Keiran President and in the three spot is
Vinicius Santos/Julien Gutierrez.
The Cameron Women's Tennis team is currently ranked No. 24 in the nation and No. 4 in the South Central region.
The women's field  of the LSC tournament includes six teams - MSU, Cameron, Tarleton State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, UT Permian Basin, and Western New Mexico.
MSU captured regular season title by going 5-0 in league play this year. Last year the Aggies took home their first LSC regular season championship and tournament title to pair with the program's sixth NCAA Regional title before the squads' historic run ended in the Elite-8.
The Aggie women's singles lineup for the tournament in order is:
Paula Gutierrez,
Zhenia Shviadok,
Mathilde Thibaudat,
Samantha Wood,
Magdalena Kovinic and
Viola Lugmayr.
Competing in the singles first slot is Gutierrez who is 5-0 against LSC opponents this season and is on a seven match streak entering the championships. She is ranked No. 50 in the nation and No. 2 regionally.
In the second spot is Shviadok who is also a perfect 5-0 in singles league play and holds a 15 match win streak. She is 21-1 in singles play with a No. 47 national ranking and No. 3 regionally.
For the doubles portion is first pairing
Zhenia Shviadok/
Mathilde Thibaudat who are No. 24 nationally and third in the region. They are 16-5 overall with a 3-1 league mark.
Second pairing
Paula Gutierrez/
Samantha Wood  are 12-10 overall and 4-1 in the LSC, while the third pairing of
Jordan Allison/
Magdalena Kovinic are 0-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
