WICHITA, Kan. – The Cameron University tennis teams got a pair of 5-4 wins over Newman University on the road on Monday.
The No. 24 CU women won both the one and two doubles matches to go up 2-1 early, and then had wins in the one, two and three, singles matches to defeat the Jets.
In the men's match, the No. 25 Aggies also took two points in the doubles matches, winning in the one and three spots. CU then got wins in the two, three, and five matches to get the win over No. 43 Newman.
Cameron's women's tennis team will be back in action on Friday, April 7, as they host Southern Nazarene, while both teams host Seward on Saturday, April 8.
