LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University men's and women's tennis teams split a pair of matches with Seward County College on Saturday, with the CU women winning 8-1 and the Aggie men falling 5-4.
 
In the women's match, the Black and Gold, who is ranked 24 in DII, dominated the sixth-ranked JUCO team SSC. Cameron won all their matches except for the three doubles match, where they fell 8-3.
 
The Aggie women are now 11-10 on the season, while the Saints are now 14-7.
 
Cameron's men's team didn't go as well as the women's despite getting off to a strong start, winning two out of the three doubles matches. In singles, the Aggies won in the one and five matches, but fell in the rest of the singles battles.
 
The 25-rankeed CU men are now 11-10 this season, while the JUCO fourth-ranked SSC is now 19-4.
 
Both Aggie teams will conclude their seasons with three straight Lone Star Conference matches, starting with Midwestern State, who they host on Monday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m.
