Smith is the team leader in rebounding and blocks, while Nwakamma is fourth in the LSC in assists and third in steals.

Scouting the TexAnns:
Tarleton State is on a three game win streak after taking down Texas Woman's, No. 8 West Texas A&M, and UT Permian Basin in their last three contests. TSU averages 66.4 points per game while shooting just over 40 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from the perimeter. Mackenzie Hailey leads the team with 14.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while ranking second in the LSC in steals. McKinley Bolstad averages 13.3 points while making 31 three pointers at a 41.3 percent clip and Katie Webster averages 11.1 points and is shooting a team best 46.5 percent from the field.

Last time vs. TSU:
Cameron got their first Lone Star Conference win at home against the TexAnns earlier this season. The Aggies trailed by just three points at the half, and came out and held TSU to under 15 points in both the third and fourth quarters as they scored 35 points in the second half to win 70-63. CU shot 45.8 percent from the field and made it to the free throw line 33 times while holding TSU to just 5-20 from the perimeter. Jamie Bonnarens led the Black and Gold with 23 points, Ava Battese had 17 points with four three pointers and Lejha Smith recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The TexAnns were led by Mackenzie Hailey, who had 28 points on 11-16 shooting.

- CU leads the series 17-15.
- The Aggies have won three of the last four meetings in Stephenville.
- Last Meeting: December 2, 2017 in Lawton, Okla. (70-63 CU win).

Scouting the Lions:
Texas A&M-Commerce has won seven games in a row, and is coming off of a 94-42 win over Dallas Christian on Monday. The Lions are second in the league with over 70 points per game while also leading the LSC in rebounding. Breanna Wise is second to CU's Jamie Bonnarens with 16.8 points per game; Wise is also the league leader in free throws made and attempted. Additionally, Artaejah Gay is second on the team with 14.2 points per contest while Princess Davis averages 10.8 points and a team best 3.2 assists.

Last time vs. TAMUC:
In CU's LSC opener, the Lions visited the Aggie Gym and won in overtime 79-69. Cameron led 18-12 after the first quarter, but scored just seven points to TAMUC's 15 to trail by two at the half. After a high scoring third quarter, CU trailed by four going into the fourth and then used a 17-13 point fourth quarter to tie the game. However, overtime was all Lions as they outscored the Aggies 18-8, knocking down 10 free throws, to earn the win. Jamie Bonnarens had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Ags, while Parfitt McNair had 18 points and Lejha Smith led the team with 14 rebounds. Brianna Wise came off the bench for Texas A&M-Commerce and scored 26 points, while four other Lions scored in double-figures, including Jenna Price, who had a 12 point, 14 rebound double-double.

The series:
- The Lions own a 23-21 series lead.
- Cameron has lost five out of the last six meetings to TAMUC.
- Last Meeting: November 30, 2017 in Lawton, Okla. (79-69 TAMUC win in overtime).

Looking back:
Their last time out, the Aggies lost a close contest to Texas Woman's at home. CU was without their leading scorer, Jamie Bonnarens, so they had to rely on their offensive production to come elsewhere. Lejha Smith helped out with that, scoring a team-high 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. Ava Battese made four three pointers on the day to score 12 points for the Ags, while Parfitt McNair chipped in 11. TWU was led by their post-presence, Alexis Nezianya, who had a game-high 16 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Aggies shot under 37 percent from the field, but hit on 8-21 three pointers and 13-18 free throws. They trailed going into the fourth quarter, but exploded for 21 points to make up ground. However, a missed layup in the final seconds would lead to CU's fifth conference loss.

Looking ahead:
Cameron returns home for their final four games at the Aggie Gym this season. They begin the home stand by hosting Angelo State on Thursday, Feb. 1 and then Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday, Feb. 3.  Cameron then welcomes West Texas A&M and UT Permian Basin to the Aggie Gym the following week.
