CU to debut lights and honor seniors against WNMU

LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron University, Aggie Athletics, and the CU softball team will debut their new lights and honor the three CU seniors this weekend as they host Western New Mexico for a four game series Friday and Saturday, April 20-21.

A Night at McMahon Field:
Cameron's doubleheader to start the series on Friday will begin at 5:30 p.m., marking the first time the Aggie softball program will play a home game at night. Thanks to a donation from the McMahon Foundation, CU's McMahon Field now has lights. To celebrate this occasion, Cameron will be giving out FREE popcorn, while the first 50 CU students who show their Student IDs at the game will receive a FREE t-shirt. In between the contests, a dedication ceremony will take place at home plate, acknowledging the donation of the lights with Ole Kim flipping the switch for the first game under the lights.

Senior Day:
Before the third game against the Mustangs, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, the three Aggie seniors, Annie Combs, Tori Smith, and Lauren Mason, will be honored for their hard work on and off the field.
