About the Aggies:
Cameron has now won 10 of their last 11 games, including a three game sweep of Western New Mexico last weekend. Against the Mustangs, CU scored 40 runs, led by Khmari Edwards, Raley Long, and Callie Busby with seven hits apiece during the three game span. In game one of the series, CU broke the program record for home runs in a game with seven, two off the bat of Brenna Busby.

The Aggies are hitting .321 as a team with 220 runs scored and 84 extra-base hits, including 37 home runs.  Leading the way is Edwards, who is one of five players hitting over .350. The freshman from Del City, Okla. is batting .388 with 31 runs scored and 33 RBI. She is tied with B. Busby for the team lead in RBI, while the CU shortstop leads Cameron with 43 runs scored and 12 homers. The two have also combined to go 37-38 in stolen base attempts. Additionally, Long is hitting .377, Breley Webb is batting .356, and C. Busby has a batting average of .353 with 28 RBI.

In the circle, Cameron has three pitchers in the top-10 in the Lone Star Conference in ERA. The freshman of the group, Webb, leads the team with a 2.32 ERA and is 6-1 in 10 starts. She also has 54 strikeouts in 57.1 innings of work. Rylee Willmon is 7-3 with a 3.03 ERA and 38 K's in 67 innings in the circle, while Bethany Hines is 9-5 with a 3.04 ERA and a team-leading 60 strikeouts in 76.0 innings in the circle.

Scouting the Rambelles:
While the Aggies are red-hot right now, Angelo State has lost four of their last five games. On Tuesday, they split a doubleheader with St. Edward's, who CU beat 13-5 earlier this season, after being swept by Texas A&M-Commerce in a three game series last weekend. ASU is receiving votes (7) in the latest NFCA Top-25 poll after being ranked No. 24 in last week's poll.

The Rambelles are hitting .308 as a team with 266 runs scored and 111 extra-base hits, 43 of which are homers. Their lineup is top heavy, with a pair of players batting over .400 and just one other hitting over .300. Courtney Barnhill owns the second best average in the LSC at .421, to go along with nine homers, 41 RBI, and 43 runs scored. Taegan Kirk is hitting .402 with 23 runs scored and 27 RBI, while Karina Rocha also has nine homers and is batting .313. Additionally, six other ASU hitters have an average of over .270.

Angelo State's pitching staff owns a team ERA of 4.51 with 169 combined strikeouts in 253 innings in the circle. Meagan Hill is 11-7 with a 3.89 ERA and 79 K's in 102.2 innings of work, while Makayla Corbin is 9-5 with a 4.09 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 92.1 innings in the circle.
