Aggies close out homestand against Western New Mexico

LAWTON – The Cameron women's basketball looks to get back on track as they host Western New Mexico on Thursday night to wrap up their four-game homestand.

The Aggies are looking to snap their four-game losing stretch on Thursday night in the Aggie Gym when they host the Mustangs for a non-conference showdown in CU's final home game until January.

STARTING 5

4. After opting out of the Lone Star Conference schedule in 2020-21, Western New Mexico has started the first full season under head coach Josh Pace 3-0 with wins over New Mexico Highlands, Fort Lewis, and Northern New Mexico, all of which were played at home.

However, the Bison were also on target in the opening two quarters and had the game tied 41-all at the half. The Aggies then went cold, scoring just 26 points in the second half while OBU continued to knock down shots as they out-lasted CU 77-67. Hedge poured in 30 points while going 12-18 from the field and adding five helpers, while Peterson and Whitney Outon also reached double-figures in the scoring column.
