LAWTON – Currently on a six-game winning streak, the Aggie women's basketball looks to carry that momentum into a Lone Star Conference North Division series with Texas Woman's that will close out the regular season.

ATTENDANCE AND COVID-19 INFORMATION:
While most schools in the LSC have allowed limited attendance in some capacity some schools, such as Texas Woman's, are sticking with no fans for the remainder of the 2020-21 home season. Fans can still watch Thursday and Saturday's games via the LSC Digital Network for a pay-per-view charge of a $10 24-hour pass. As has it has been since January, Cameron University is allowing only fans on each team's respective pass lists into the Aggie Gym. Masks and social distancing are required at all CU home events.

STARTING 5:
1. Cameron extended their win streak to six games, the longest since the 2011-12 season, with a pair of wins against then No. 5 West Texas A&M this past weekend; they have defeated three straight top-10 ranked opponents and are 6-0 in February.
2. CU racked up the accolades this past week as Maighan Hedge (offensive) and Stephanie Peterson (defensive) swept the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week honors and head coach Emma Andrews was named the Division II Coach of the Week by WHoopDirt.com.
3. In game one against the Lady Buffs, the Aggies racked up a program record 22 steals in the 72-66 overtime win; Cameron has forced over 22 turnovers over their six-game winning streak (29, 26, 26, 22, 35, 28).
4. Texas Woman's got off to a slow start, playing just one game, a loss to Texas A&M International, up until Jan. 22, but since then they have gone 4-7 but have not played since Feb. 13.
5. Sophomore guard Sadie Moyer has played in all 12 games and is averaging 10.8 points and 4.7 rebounds during her 34.4 minutes played per outing for the Pioneers.

LAST TIME OUT:
The Aggies put the rest of the LSC and Division II on notice after sweeping the No. 5 ranked Lady Buffs last weekend. Like they have been all month long, CU got it done with defensive pressure, forcing WT into 35 turnovers in game one and 28 in the second. Peterson led the way with six steals and 14 points during the game one overtimes win, while Katie King added five steals and Jazmin Luster had four. In the 70-60 victory on Saturday, Hedge took over with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals, while out-dueling the LSC Preseason Player of the Year Lexi Hightower.

ABOUT THE AGGIES:
During their six-game winning streak, Cameron's offensive has remained solid at 69.3 points per game and a .378 shooting percentage. Where it has really picked up is on the defensive side, where they limit the opposition to just a .254 three-point shooting percentage and force 21.5 turnovers per outing with 10.6 of those coming on Aggie steals. Where they have lacked recently in on the boards, where they have been out-rebounded by an average of 7.2 on the season. Hedge leads the squad and is third in the LSC in scoring with 16.2 points per game to go along with averages of 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.9 steals. She is also shooting over 40 percent from three and 82 percent from the charity stripe. Peterson adds 11.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 steals for CU, while five others average over five points for the Black and Gold.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS:
Texas Woman's snapped a four-game losing streak with a 65-61 win over Texas A&M International last time out. They are averaging just 55.5 points per game while shooting 37 percent from the field and 27 percent from three, but make 14 foul shots per outing at a 78 percent clip. Junior guard Jordan Jenkins leads the squad with 12.4 points per game to go along with averages of 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Moyer is the only other Pioneer scoring in double-figures, while Woods averaged 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds and shoots 53 percent from the floor.

AGAINST TWU:
The Aggies and Pioneers have a highly competitive history with TWU holding a slight 25-21 advantage. In their lone meeting last season, Cameron entered the contest on a four-game winning streak and playing their best ball of the season. That showed in the opening 10 minutes as CU pulled out to a 24-10 advantage before the second quarter and then extended that to a 23-point lead at halftime. TWU's late surge fell short as the Aggies held on for the 74-69 win. Cameron had five players reach double-figures including Hedge (14), Whitney Outon (12), and Peterson (13). Woods had 11 points on 4-12 shooting, while Moyer added nine points, six rebounds, and two steals for TWU.

WHO HAS NEXT:
Next up for the Aggies is the Lone Star Conference Championship, which will begin with four first-round games on the higher seeds' campus on Tuesday, March 2. Cameron currently sits in fourth place in the LSC points system, which has them hosting a quarterfinal contest depending on what happens around the conference this weekend.
