LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron looks to keep things rolling after the big win over the weekend, as they are set to host Oklahoma Christian and Arkansas Fort Smith this week. The Eagles visit the confines of the Aggie Gym on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 5:30 pm, and the Lions come to Lawton on Saturday, Jan. 21, for a 1:00 pm tip.
STARTING 5:
1. The Aggies would go on the road and upset Angelo State 61-57, giving them their first loss on their home floor this season. Katie King scored 18 points with seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
2. Alena Wilson leads the team in scoring and rebounds. She ranks 15th in the LSC with her 12.2 ppg and 10th with 7.3 rebounds per game. Katie King ranks second in the LSC for steals (2.5) and has the fifth most assists (4.2) in conference play.
3. OC bested St. Mary's 71-50. The Eagles score an LSC-worst 58.9 ppg while allowing 65.4 ppg. They shoot 34.4 percent from the floor and 24.1 percent from three. Brooklin Bain is the leading scorer for OC with 13.5 ppg, and she grabs a team-high 8.2 rebounds a game.

Bain is the leading scorer for OC with 13.5 ppg, and she grabs a team-high 8.2 rebounds a game.
LAST TIME AGAINST OC:
The Aggies spread out the attack and capitalized on Oklahoma Christian's mistakes to win 78-70. Cameron was back to their pressuring ways, forcing 23 turnovers with 16 coming off CU steals. The Aggies posted a 31.3 percent clip from the field while going 12-45 from three and 14-21 from the foul line. They also totaled a season-high 52 rebounds, with 19 coming on the offensive end. Maighan Hedge led the Black and Gold with 23 points. Three other Aggies eclipsed 10 points in the win. Stephanie Peterson had 16 points, Whitney Outon added 13 points, and Katie King flirted had 10 points. Brooklyn Bain was one of three Eagles to reach double-figures in the scoring column. She led the team with 12 points. The Eagles shot 36 percent from the field and 20 percent from three while going 12-17 from the foul line in the loss.
SCOUTING THE LIONS:
Arkansas Fort Smith comes into the weekend with a record of 4-13, 2-9 LSC, and 1-6 DIV after dropping both games last week. The Lions average 61.7 ppg while allowing 72.6 ppg. They shoot 39 percent from the floor and 33.7 percent from three. They allow their opponents to shoot 42 percent from the floor and 29.8 percent from beyond the arc. Aaliyah Prince leads UAFS with 14.4 ppg.
LAST TIME AGAINST UAFS:
Cameron got big performances from Maighan Hedge, Stephanie Peterson, and Korie Allensworth against UAFS, winning 94-79 in the last meeting. Hedge was one of four players to reach double-figures in the scoring column, with 28 points on 10-19 shooting from the field and 6-10 shooting from three. Peterson had 18 points, Korie Allensworth scored 15 points, and Whitney Outon added 11 points. The Aggies made 50.8 percent of their shots from the field and went 15-30 from behind the three-point arc. They made 10 more triples than their opponent, who got to the charity stripe 15 more times despite the loss. UAFS also controlled the glass 42-37 while CU slightly won the turnover battle 14-13. UAFS shot just under 39 percent from the field while going 5-23 from three and 26-32 from the charity stripe, which kept the game from getting out of hand. Paige Elston led the team with 21 points, while Mar'Shaila Lollie added an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double.
