Lawton, OK. - The Aggie Women's Basketball team will be starting their season at home against Harding University November 12, 2024 at the Aggie Gym.

The Bison's beat the Aggies in their last matchup on November 14, 2023 by twenty-one points (46-67) in Searcy, Arkansas.

The Aggies are coming off a 11-17 season with their head coach Jeffrey Mahoney who is returning to the court for his third season with the Cameron Aggies.

Senior, Shamica Smith will be starting her senior season with an average of 14 points per game last season hitting 50.5% of her shots. Smith earned a spot on the Lone Star Conference Preseason Watch List with her defensive skills, with 85 assist, 30 steals, and 24 blocks. Smith was putting down an average of 9.3 rebounds per game, totaling 261 rebounds for the season, with 193 on the defensive end and 68 on offense.

Alannah Gillespie will also be entering her senior season after coming off last season with injuries. Gillespie's goal this season is to stay healthy and be prepared for what the team needs.
