Cameron University Athletics

2017 (Senior): Fields played in 26 games and started 22 for the Aggies during his senior campaign. He hit .300 in 70 at bats, with nine runs scored and six RBI. Starting 18 games behind the plate, Fields posted a .984 fielding percentage with 111 putouts and 15 assists; he threw out nine potential base stealers. He had two hits and scored two runs against SNU and then had two hits and a pair of RBI against Willima Jewell on Feb. 17. 

2016 (Junior): In the win over Southern Arkansas (2/5), he went 1-4 with 1 RBI, 1 double, and scored 1 run... Went 5-8 with 3 RBIs, 2 doubles, 1 homerun, and scored 3 runs in the series sweep over Southern Nazarene (2/12-13)... In the series sweep over William Jewell (2/19-21), he went 5-14 at the plate with 5 RBIs and 1 double... In the game against Kingsville (3/5), he went 2-4 at the plate with 2 doubles, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored... In the series against Angelos (3/24-3/26), he had 3 hits with 1 run scored... In the game against ENMU (4/3), he hit a homerun, had 1 RBI and 1 run scored... In the series against Kingsville (4/8-4/9), he went 4-12 at the plate with 1 double, 3 homeruns, had 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored... He went 2-4 at the plate against SWOSU (4/12)... In the double-header against #21 West Texas (4/17), he went 4-7 at the plate with 1 double, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored... Against Tarleton State (4/23-24), he went 3-7 at the plate, with 2 RBIs, a double, and 3 runs scored.

JUCO: Played two season at Dodge City Community College... In his sophomore season, he hit .338 with eight homers and 25 RBI and helped his team when a regional championship and reach the Junior College World Series.

High School: Graduated from Pueblo South High School... Lettered three years as a catcher and corner infielder... Was All State and named to the 4A All Star game his senior year.

Personal: Son of Kathleen and Michael Fields... Father played football at Adams State... Likes to hike, mountain bike, and watching hockey.
