Biography

2017 (Senior): In Ramirez played in 49 games and started in 46 of those during his final and only season wearing the black and gold. He hit .333 with 35 runs scored and 17 RBI, while going 9-12 in stolen base attempts. He also posted a .919 fielding percentage with 44 putouts and 81 defensive assists. Ramirez finished the season on a 25 game reached base safely streak and had 11 multi-hit games throughout the season. He had three hits in four different games, but the most impactful came in the final home series against Texas A&M-Kingsville when he went 3-5 with four RBI, three of which came on a three run homer in the eighth inning of a 9-4 win. Ramirez was named All-LSC Honorable Mention.
