LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University baseball team will have their first home series on Friday and Saturday, playing two double headers with Northwest Missouri.
Both double headers will consist of one seven inning game and one nine inning game starting at noon on Friday and Saturday.
The Aggies enter the series with 3-3 record after getting a pair of wins against East Central two start out the year, and then going 1-3 in a pair of double headers with UT-Permian Basin. They have a team batting average of .261 and a team ERA of 2.77.
Individually,
Brad Blumer is hitting .524 with two RBI and three runs scored, while
Steve Matta is the reigning Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week, going six and a third innings with two strike outs, four hits, and only one earned run in his outing against UTPB.
The Bearcats enter the series with a 1-1 record, splitting their first two games with Northwestern Oklahoma State on Feb. 10. They have a team batting average of .281 and team ERA of 3.46.
Following this series, the Aggies will head to Abilene, Texas for a double header with McMurry.
