Baseball hosts Eastern New Mexico for a four game series

LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron baseball team will look to snap a nine game skid at home this weekend when they Eastern New Mexico for a four game series.  

After opening their first ten games at 5-5, the Aggies have dropped nine of their last ten games all of which are in Lone Star Conference play.

Eastern New Mexico will enter their contest in Lawton with a 14-10 overall record and they are 4-8 in league play.  Ryan Forkel is leading the Greyhounds at the plate with a .386 average in 22 games played; he has the fourth highest batting average in the league. 

As a team ENMU is in the middle of the LSC with a .305 batting average with 12 homers, and a league high 130 RBI.  In pitching, the Greyhounds are last in the conference with a 4.81 team ERA.

Cameron on the other hand is on the opposite boat sitting last in batting with a .248 average and on the mound they are in the middle of the LSC with a 3.89 team ERA.

Drew Reidt has the eleventh best ERA in the league at 2.63, and Brian Schwabe is right behind him with a 2.96 ERA.
