Box Score PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico scored in every inning as they would run-rule Cameron 21-3 in seven innings on Friday night.
The 21 runs given up by Cameron was the most in two seasons as they would fall to 16-25 overall and 10-19 in Lone Star Conference play.
Cameron opened up with
Brandon Raidy hitting a homer to lead off the game,
Harold Cannon and
Tobin Mateychick added a run each to give CU the 3-0 lead.
However there was no stopping the Greyhound bats after they would pound 24 hits off of CU's pitching staff.
Kas Sanders, Cannon, and Mateychick all had a pair of hits for Cameron.
Brian Schwabe (5-4) went 2 1/3 innings in the loss;
Jacob Winters finished the game off in relief.
Cameron will wrap up the series on Saturday with a doubleheader at 1 pm.
