SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
West Texas A&M is 27-11 overall and 15-8 in Lone Star Conference play tied for second with Texas A&M-Kingsville and one game behind Angelo State in the LSC Standings. On Tuesday, the Buffs won 7-6 against No. 10 Lubbock Christian in a non-conference game that went to 15 innings. Presently, WT is fourth in the LSC with a .292 team batting average. Trace Hansen leads the Buffs at .380, which is third best in league, and is second in most hits at 46. Additionally, he is tied with CU's Nate Hale with 15 stolen bases. With a 3.59 ERA pitching staff, the Buffs are led by Austin Moore (7-2) on the mound as he tops the league ERA at 1.39 and has held opponents to a .170 batting average Kyle Tinius leads with 9 saves.
 
ALL ABOUT CU 
On Tuesday, the Aggies traveled to Southwestern Oklahoma State for a non-conference matchup following a critical series win over No. 25 Texas A&M-Kingsville during the weekend. Cameron dropped their first non-conference game of the season to SWOSU in a 4-2 contest after the Bulldogs out-hit the Aggies 12 to seven. Cameron holds a two game lead ahead of Tarleton State for the final spot to get into the LSC tournament with the top-4 teams advancing to the regular season champion's location.  As things stand presently, only one game separates Angelo State from West Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Kingsville; the Aggies are four games back of the WT and TAMUK tie, and five behind ASU. The Aggies continue to lead the LSC with a .305 team batting average, and Cody Bower leads the Aggies individually at .366 and 45 hits.
