ALL ABOUT CU
The Aggies took one game out of three at West Texas A&M in a series that was moved back a day due to weather and Sunday's doubleheader was plagued by rain delays.
Bronson Pulgados led the Aggies at the plate and batted .714 in four games last week with ten hits and four doubles. In each of the games, the Aggie junior had at least two hits, and at West Texas A&M on Apr. 16 Pulgados batted a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles. On Apr. 17, Pulgados had a pair of two-hit games with an RBI scored. With the strong week at the plate Pulgados' season batting average has jumped to .364, which is fourth highest in the LSC. On the mound,
Bryan Belote tossed a complete game four hit shutout to beat No. 21 West Texas A&M to prevent a WT sweep. The Cameron senior tossed 127 pitches and struck out five Buff batters. Three of WT's hits came in the first two innings with Belote allowing a runner in scoring position twice. Â Belote sat down 16 of the final 17 WT batters in the dominating Sunday evening performance.
