Aggies host Southeastern Oklahoma in weekday meeting

WEDNESDAY NOTABLES
- Cameron holds a 15-6 record at home and is 12-1 this season in non-conference play.
- Head Coach Brady Huston is 5-4 in the last two seasons when playing teams out of the Great American Conference (GAC), and dropped a doubleheader last year to SOSU in Durant.
- The Aggies are out-scoring teams in the second inning 48-to-3 this season and hold a 22-3 record when they outhit their opponents.
 
STREAKING
Nate Hale presently has a four game hitting streak with Jonathan Reyes reaching base in his last six at-bats.  Cody Knight had a streak of six-straight hits at Tarleton State last weekend before flying out in his last at-bat on Sunday.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
- The Savage Storm was swept by Arkansas-Monticello in a three game series in Durant and slipped from second in the GAC standings to third.  However, Southeastern Oklahoma has already clinched a postseason berth into the GAC Tournament.
- Batting fifth in the GAC with a .284 batting average, but SOSU runners have been thrown out on the bases 29 times on 68 attempts.
- Team ERA is tenth in the GAC allowing just over five runs per-game this year, and they have walked 170 batters; Southeastern pitchers have also hit a GAC high 75 batters.
- Logan Terwilliger leads SOSU with seven homers and is batting .327 in 45 games this season.

Cameron took the final two games in their road series at Tarleton State and now hold a one game lead over the Texans to get into the Lone Star Conference Tournament for the first time since 2011.  CU ranks on top of the LSC with a .304 batting average and 34 homers; Cody Bower and Cole Williams are tied for the team high with seven. Hale leads the league with 41 runs, 31 walks, and is tied for the most stolen bases in the LSC with 15.  Tyler McKinzie is tied for the LSC lead with 38 RBI, and he has knocked in 13 doubles, which is third most in the league. The Aggie pitching staff is second in the LSC with a 3.88 team ERA and is second with 345 strikeouts; with five fewer games played that West Texas who has ten more than the Aggies.
