Despite powering three home runs over the Savage Storm, they fell late in the eighth inning and were out-hit 11 to nine. Previously in conference play, Cameron took the final two games in their road series at Tarleton State and now hold a one game lead over the Texans to get into the Lone Star Conference Tournament for the first time since 2011. CU ranks on top of the LSC with a .303 batting average and 37 homers;

Cole Williams are tied for the team high with seven. Hale leads the league with 41 runs, 31 walks, and is tied for the most stolen bases in the LSC with 15.Â
