PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Aggie men's and women's tennis teams both fell to top-10 ranked West Florida on Wednesday, as the men lost 5-0 and the women fell 6-3.

In the women's match, the no. 17 ranked Cameron won two out of the three doubles matches against the no. 7 ranked West Florida Argonauts. The pairing of Zhenia Shviadok and Mathilde Thibaudat won the one doubles match 9-7, while Magdalena Kovinic and Viola Lugmayr won 8-3 in the third spot.

CU's lone singles point came in the two doubles match as Shviadok won her match after going up 5-3 in the first set before her opponent retired. The rest of Cameron's singles matches were two set losses.

In the men's match, the no. 16 Aggies got swept by the no. 9 Argonauts in doubles and then lost in both the four and six singles matches as Mateo Velasco lost 6-1, 6-1 and Andres Velasco lost 6-1, 6-2. The other four matches went unfinished as the two teams played a first to five points format.

Both the men's and women's tennis teams will host Northwest Missouri on March 21 for a pair of matches starting at 1 p.m.
