LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron softball team will pause conference play for a road trip to Edmond, Okla. to face Central Oklahoma in a double header on Tuesday.
The games will be a rematch for the Aggies who faced UCO last Monday and came up short, falling 4-2 and 9-0 in their doubleheader in Lawton.
Cameron is 25-11 overall, while UCO is 27-7 on the season.
Most recently, Cameron hosted Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday, sweeping their double header prior to the final game of the series being canceled due to weather. CU took game one 9-2 and came from behind five runs in the seventh inning to win 11-10 as
Alyssa Osterdock batted in the go ahead run.

Paige Daino, and
Kaytlyn Kizarr all had three RBI on the day, with
Kaylyn Smith leading CU with four hits and four runs scored, the same amount as Warren. K. Smith also had three steals during the two games.
Bethany Hines received both wins, bringing her record to 19-5 on the season. She struck out four batters in nine innings pitched. Osterdock (6-6) pitched the first five innings of game two, giving up just one earned run while striking out three.
UCO is on a six game streak entering their contest with the Aggies. They are batting .349 as a team and 2.05 ERA. Three Bronchos are hitting above .400 in Carrie Abrams .442, Carli Jones .422 and Morgan Heard .407.
Tori Collet has a team best .761 slugging percentage and last time against CU hit a pair of two-run homers. Collet and Heard have nine total homers this season.
Peyton Walker (14-3) has a team best 1.49 ERA in the circle, and Jayden Chestnut (12-3) has 2.34 ERAÂ Â with 114 strikeouts this season.
Both had complete game wins against CU with Chestnut allowing just three Aggie hits and Walker six.
The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Broncho softball field.
