LAWTON, Okla. – Three former Cameron University baseball players are finding success at the next level this summer.
Logan Fanning, who pitched for the Aggies for three seasons and also spent the last two seasons as a student assistant coach, has had a solid start to the season for the River City Rascals of the Frontier Independent League. Fanning has appeared in 13 games and posted a 0.63 ERA in 14.1 innings of work. The relief pitcher has struck out five batters in 63 at bats and posted a 1-1 win/loss record. While at CU, Fanning posted a 3.83 ERA with 56 strikeouts in 80 innings of work over three seasons. Â
Bronson Pulgados, a Kea'au, Hawaii native who spent the 2016 and 2017 spring seasons suiting up for Cameron, is currently playing for the Aguada Explorers of the Empire Baseball League. Pulgados has a batting average of .214, while totaling six hits, three runs, and two RBI in 28 at bats.
Jackson Tetreault spent the 2016 season pitching for CU before transferring to State JC of Florida. He was then drafted in the seventh round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft by the Washington Nationals organization. Tetreault is currently pitching for the Hagerstown Suns of the South Atlantic League at the A(Full) Level. He is 1-7 with a 5.23 ERA in 13 games started; he also has a team leading 68 strikeouts in 65.1 innings on the mound. Tetreault struck out 15 batters in 16 innings while earning a 2-1 record during his one season at Cameron.
