About the Aggies:
Cameron is 6-8 on the season and are coming off a 1-3 record in a four game split-series with Oklahoma Christian and William Jewell this past weekend. Their one win game in run-rule fashion as they took down the Cardinals 17-7 on Monday. Shortstop
Pierce Khan led the way with five RBI as he totaled nine runs driven in for the day, with four more against OC.
Â
Dillon Turney leads CU with a .372 average, while
Izrael Trevino is batting .310 with a team-leading 18 hits, 14 runs scored, and 14 RBI. He is tied with Khan, who now has 13 RBI to go along with a .278 average, for the team lead in homers (2). As a team, the Black and Gold are hitting .241 with 75 runs scored and 27 extra-base hits.
Â
Devin Castro has been a solid starter to start the season for Cameron, posting a 1.88 ERA with 20 K's in 24 innings pitched; he is 1-1 in four starts.
Andrew Garza leads the team with 22 strikeouts in 21.2 innings of work, while
Sean Maher has struck out 19 in 13.2 innings out of the bullpen. Cameron has a combined ERA of 6.52 with 115 total strikeouts in 118.2 innings on the mound.

Scouting the Greyhounds:
The Greyhounds come into this weekend with a 5-4 record while the Aggies set at 6-8. Malcolm Boehm, who has started in eight of the nine games so far this season, leads them at the plate with a .346 average in 26 at bats, with three extra base hits. Boehm has also driven in three runs while coming around to score four times himself. He leads the team in total bases with 13, three bags ahead of the next in line.
          Â
As a team, Eastern New Mexico turns in a .319 Average through nine games. They have scored 53 runs offensively while only allowing 37 runs on the defensive side. ENMU posts a .449 on base percentage for the year. The Greyhounds are aggressive on the base paths swiping 52 bases on the year. That aggressiveness has gotten five runners picked off, to go with their three failed stolen base attempts.
          Â
On the mound, ENMU turns to their ace, Enrique Perez, who has made three starts this season, going the distance in one of those starts. His record is unblemished with two wins and a no decision. Perez has yet to allow a run to cross in 19 innings. Over those 19 innings, he has only given up 12 hits (good enough for a .179 batting average against) with only one of those being an extra base hit. Perez has sent hitters back to the dugout on strikes 30 times thus far this season all while only handing out just seven free passes. Joel Torres is another Greyhound hurler who has impressed this serious, as he has tossed 12 innings and boasts a 1.50 ERA.
          Â
As a team ENMU turns in a 3.97 ERA across 22 pitchers, and 65.2 innings. As a team they have only given up 12 extra base hits (one of which being a home run). Hitters are struggling against the Greyhound staff hitting for just a .2-3 average against ENMU.
