LAWTON, Okla. – Aggie baseball looks to continue their hot streak in a critical four-game set at UT Permian Basin this weekend, April 26-28.

Cameron travels to Odessa, Texas for a LSC showdown with the Falcons. The last time these two teams played was earlier this year when the teams split a four game set that featured a 17-inning marathon won by the Aggies.

Cameron comes into the weekend with a 10-6 record in conference play, riding a four game winning streak. The Falcons are searching to get off a four game skid after being swept by West Texas A&M last weekend.

When the two teams last played, the Aggies pitching staff gave up 16 runs in the entire series, which was their most dominating four game series performance until last week when they only allowed 11 runs in a four game series.

Payton Koopman leads the way for the Falcons at the dish, playing and starting in 24 games where he has hit for a team high .343 average with 15 runs batted in with 15 runs scored. Skyler Palermo is another Falcons' slugger who impresses at the plate as he has started all but one of the Falcons contests and has turned in 25 RBIs, two home runs, and 32 hits to the tune of a .331 batting average.

At the plate the Aggies will look to
Hayden Jaco to continue his hot streak, as in the series finale against Eastern New Mexico, Jaco went 3-for-5 with a team high four RBIs and a home run. On the year, Jaco turns in a .298 batting average with 36 hits, and 30 RBIs. He has also made four appearances on the mound, including a no-hitter against the Greyhounds that earned him the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week honor.

On the mound, the Falcons will look to Krisjon Segleski the true freshman from McKinney, Texas has appeared in a team high 14 games to the tune of a 4.55 ERA, a 1.41 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts.

The Aggies have a bullpen ace of their own in
Sean Maher, the side armed hurler turns in a 6.23 ERA with 20 appearances under his belt. Maher boosts a 1.20 WHIP with 14 punchouts.

Senior Alex Rivera leads the way for the Falcons starting staff as he has started a team high ten games going 41 innings on the year including a complete game shutout of the Aggies when he only allowed three hits in a seven inning tilt.

Devin Castro leads the Aggie starters with ten starts of his own, lasting 49 innings to the tune of a 4.78 ERA. The junior southpaw has 41 strikeouts with a 1.57 WHIP.

Next, the Aggies return to McCord Field for the final series of the regular season as they host West Texas A&M for a four-game series slated to start Friday, May 3, at 1 p.m.
