LAWTON, Okla. -- After a dominant win over UT Tyler last time out, the Aggie women's basketball team returns to the Aggie Gym Thursday and Saturday to host St. Mary's for their "White Out" game and St. Edward's.

1. In their 84-68 win over UT Tyler last Saturday, the Aggie women broke the program record for three-pointers in a game with 18, which was one shy of the Lone Star Conference record; Cameron has made 13 or more treys in four of their last five outings.
2. Sophomore
Maighan Hedge's 25-point game against UTT was her sixth 20-plus point outing of the season and the 15th of her two-year CU career; she also career-best seven three-point field goals against the Patriots.
3. St. Mary's is 4-7 on the season and has started their first LSC slate 3-4 with wins over St. Edward's, Oklahoma Christian, and UT Tyler; they currently lead the league with .367 three-point percentage.
4. With an 8-4 overall record and a 4-3 conference mark, St. Edward's is ranked fourth in the conference with 4.3 blocks per game and third with a .728 free throw percentage.
5. The Rattlers and Hilltoppers are led by the top two scorers in the conference, as St. Mary's is led by Soteria Banks (19.5 ppg) and St. Edward's is led by Deijah Blanks (19.1 ppg); Cameron's Hedge is ranked third behind Banks and Blanks.

Cameron opened their 84-68 win over UT Tyler last Saturday with one of their most dominant quarters of the year. In the first 10 minutes of action, the Aggies outscored their opponent 31-11 while shooting 12-17 from the field and 7-8 from three-point range. They finished off the half with a 23-14 second quarter to end the half with a 54-25 lead. CU shot 45.7 percent for the game while gong 18-37 from three. Hedge led the way with 25 points, while
Amaka Nwakamma chipped in 15 points and nine rebounds,
Stephanie Peterson added 14 points, and
Ava Battese had 13.
About the Aggies:
Cameron enters their first home games of 2020 with a 4-8 overall record and a 3-3 conference mark; all four of their wins have come on the road. They are averaging 69.2 points per game, but are still being outscored by an average of 13.5 points per game. CU is shooting just over 38 percent from the field and is making a LSC-best 9.2 three-point field goals per game at a 34.3 percent clip. They also hit on 71.6 percent of their foul shots, which they make 12.2 per outing....
Hedge and Battese lead the Aggies with 18.0 points per game (Battese hasn't played the minimum amount of games to qualify for the league rankings yet), while Nwakamma is the third player in double-figures, averaging 10.5 points per outing. Nwakamma also leads CU with 5.3 rebounds per contest, while Hedge's 3.0 assists each game is tops on the Black and Gold squad.
Scouting the Rattlers:
After starting out the season 2-2, St. Mary's was on a four-game losing skid, which was snapped by a win over St. Edward's on Dec. 21. They are averaging 64.7 points per game while shooting 39.7 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from three-point range. The Rattlers are also out-rebounding their opposition by 1.9 boards per night and average 15.2 assists compared to 16.5 turnovers. On the defensive end, StMU averaged 8.1 steals and 2.4 blocks while giving up 64.3 points per game to their opposition.
Banks is the only St. Mary's player scoring over 10 points per game (19.5), while the junior guard is also averaging 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 46.4 percent from the field. 6-3 post Hannah Wilson leads the Rattlers with 8.0 rebounds per game to go along with a scoring average of 8.5, while Alexia Torres averages a team-high 4.9 assists and scores 5.6 points per game.
Scouting the Hilltoppers:
St. Edwards started the season on a five-game win streak, but since then, has gone 4-4 with a loss to UAFS last time out. They are outscoring opponents by just under four while scoring 67.2 points per game and shooting 39.5 percent from the field. They make 12.5 foul shots per outing, hitting them at a 72.8 percent clip. SEU is being out-rebounded by 4.6 boards per contest and averaged 11.0 assists compared to 16.4 turnovers per game. Defensively, they record 9.1 steals and force 19.8 turnovers per outing while blocking an average of 4.3 shots with opponents shooting 39.6 percent from the field against them.
Blanks team-leading 19.1 points per game is the only Hilltopper scoring average over 10 points. The 5-10 graduate student is also recording 4.8 assists and 1.9 steals per outing, while 6-0 sophomore averages a team-high 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks while scoring six points per outing. Additionally, D'Aviyon Magazine averages 6.4 points per game and Christina Mason leads the team with 2.6 assists per outing.

Next up for the Aggies is rivalry week, with two outings against their Red River rival Midwestern State. The first battle with the Mustangs is Wednesday, Jan. 15, in Wichita Falls, and the second will be in the Aggie Gym on Saturday, Jan. 18.
