Last time out:
In their final regular season game at the Aggie Gym, the Aggie offense exploded for 102 points on a program record 66 percent from the field. They made 39 field goals, 13 of which were from three-point range and went 11-14 from the foul line in the 14-point win over UAFS. Hedge led the way with her 26-point, 10-assist double-double, while Battese added 22 points and
Amaka Nwakamma chipped in 13 on 6-9 shooting. Cameron knocked down 75 percent of their shots in the first quarter alone and then made over 60 percent in the remaining three quarters. They out-scored the Lady Lions 32-16 in the third, which was when CU pulled out in front by 20 points.
LSC tournament outlook:
The 2020 LSC Basketball Tournament will be played in two parts. The opening round will consist of four on-campus contests between the 5-12 seeds, with the top seed hosting. The remaining four will go on to play the top-4 teams based on conference standings at the Commerica Center in Frisco, Texas. At 12-8 in league play, the Aggie women currently sit in a tie for fifth place with their Thursday opponent Eastern New Mexico and Angelo State. They are just a game back of the fourth place Texans and are half a game ahead of St. Edward's and St. Mary's, who play each other this week. Depending on what happens during the final week of the regular season, CU could finish anywhere between the four seed and the nine seed.

West Texas A&M has been without the help of the LSC's Preseason Player of the Year Lexi Hightower all season, but a collection of players have made up for her production. The reigning LSC Offensive Player of the Week Abby Spurgin, who averaged 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds last week, scores 13.8 points and grabs 6.0 rebounds per game for the Lady Buffs while shooting over 53 percent from the floor.
