LAWTON – Cameron rides a three-game win streak out west for a pair of road doubleheaders against Western New Mexico and UT Permian Basin this weekend.

The Aggie softball team has won three straight, including one over No. 10 West Texas A&M last weekend, and is 11-3 since March 14. They are now 20-12 on the season and 11-9 against Lone Star Conference opponents. This weekend CU faces a pair of teams that have a combined five wins this year.

Cameron hit .409 and scored 39 runs over their homestand against the Lady Buffs and Eastern New Mexico. The quartet combined for 15 hits, 13 runs, eight stolen bases, three doubles, a triple, two home runs, and 10 RBI in the doubleheader against the Greyhound. Hines also threw a near-perfect game, giving up just one hit in the fifth inning.

The other half of the middle-infield, Khmari Edwards is batting .392 with a team-high 29 RBI and 22 swipes. Christensen's .778 average over the weekend increased her season clip to .372 while also ranking second in the LSC with her nine homers.

They are hitting .245 with 47 runs scored and 19 extra-base hits. WNMU owns a 14.28 team ERA with 42 strikeouts combined and a .398 opponents' batting average.
