Cameron Athletics Announces Schedule Changes for Upcoming Weekend

Lawton, Oklahoma – Due to frigid temperatures forecast across the Southwest Oklahoma region throughout the week, Cameron University Athletics has announced schedule changes for Lone Star Conference home softball and baseball games for the upcoming weekend.

The Aggies doubleheader against West Texas, originally scheduled for Friday, February 21st, has been moved to Saturday, February 22nd beginning at 5:30pm at McMahon Field.  The Aggies doubleheader against Midwestern University, originally scheduled for Sunday, February 23rd, has been moved to Monday, February 24th, with a first pitch scheduled for 4:00pm.

The Cameron baseball series against West Texas, originally scheduled for Friday, February 21st through Sunday, February, 23rd, has been moved back by a day.  The Aggies and Buffs will now begin their series on Saturday, February 22nd with a single, nine inning game beginning at 2:00pm.  The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, February 23rd starting at 2:00pm.  The series will now conclude with one game on Monday, February 24th with first pitch scheduled for 1:00pm.

The Cameron men's and women's basketball doubleheaders on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon will be played as scheduled.  The Aggies will host Western New Mexico on Thursday evening at Aggie Gym.  The women's game will begin at 5:30pm and the men's game will start at 7:30pm.  On Saturday, the Aggies will host Sul Ross State with the women's team playing at 1:00pm and the men's team tipping off at 3:00pm.  The newly inducted Cameron Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be introduced at halftime of the women's game and the seniors from both Cameron teams will be honored prior to their respective games.
