LAWTON, Ok — Cameron baseball received two selections for the Lone Star Conference All-Team honors at the 2025 LSC Baseball Championship Banquet.
On May 7th, the Lone Star Conference held the baseball championship banquet and announced the 2025 awards throughout the conference. Cameron was selected twice with outfielder
Zane Roos and right-handed pitcher
Josh Martinez.
Zane Roos finished his junior year atop almost all of the offensive statistics for Cameron. Roos ended the year with a .355 batting average which was second on the team. He led the Aggies in home runs with ten and a 1.179 OPS. Roos had the most hits on his squad with 49, first in runs with 42 and tied for the team lead with four triples. He accumulated the most RBI with 45, total bases with 99 and slugging percent .717. Roos was nearly perfect in the outfield with a .971 fielding percentage and only one error committed. He recorded 34 putouts in right field.
In 49.2 innings pitched,
Josh Martinez led the team with his 4.17 ERA. He ended the season with the best record on the team with a 4-2 finish. Martinez tied a fellow Aggie for most strikeouts with 37. He held his opponent's batting average to .283 and only allowed 23 free passes. Cameron baseball finished their 2025 season in April and is gearing up for the 2026 season.
