Kingsville extended their lead to 4-1 as they scored two more in the fourth inning, and then took a 6-1 lead with two runs in the sixth. In the seventh, TAMUK put two more runs on the board via their second two run homer of the day.
Cameron would not back down from the deficit though, as two walks and a hit by pitch loaded the bases, and then a one out walk scored
Jordan Climpson. After a fly out to right field, McElroy came up with two outs and cleared the bases with his fourth homer of the season to cut the score to 8-6 in favor of the Javelinas.
Kingsville came right back and scored a run in both the eighth and ninth innings, giving them a 10-6 lead, with the Aggies coming up in the bottom of the ninth.
Brandon Raidy led off the inning with a double down the left field line, followed by four straight balls to put
Kas Sanders on first. Blumer then came up and hit a chopper up the middle that was just in between the second baseman and shortstop. Cannon came up with one out and grounded into a fielder's choice, but an error allowed Raidy to score, and put runners on second and third with two outs. Nilmeyer then singled up the middle, scoring pinch runner
Dillon Leveille, and advanced to third on a Climpson hit. Nilmeyer then scored on a wild pitch, giving CU their third run of the inning. Down 10-9 with two outs, the Javelinas got the final out and ended the game.
