SCOUTING THE OPPOSITIONSouthwestern Oklahoma is locked in a three-way tie for first place in the GAC standings with a 15-7 record. Last weekend, the Bulldogs swept a doubleheader at Ouachita Baptist on Saturday after dropping the opening game of the series 7-6. The Aggies are the second LSC program they will face all season with SWOSU falling 4-3 to West Texas A&M in their third game of the year. At home in Weatherford, the Bulldogs are 12-6, and they have averaged just over seven runs a game while allowing about five. Korbin Polston is SWOSU's biggest threat at the plate with ten doubles and six homers. The Bulldog senior outfielder is batting .340 this season at the plate.

ALL ABOUT CUCameron has won seven of their last nine games and holds a two game lead ahead of Tarleton State for the final spot to get into the LSC tournament with the top-4 teams advancing to the regular season champion's location. As things stand presently, only one game separates Angelo State from West Texas A&M and Texas A&M-Kingsville; the Aggies are four games back of the WT and TAMUK tie, and five behind ASU.  Individually, McKinzie is second in the LSC in RBI (32) and runs (35); the senior is third in homers with five this season. Â
Cody Bower is second in the league with six homers with
Jorden Fields and
Cole Williams both tied with McKinzie with five each. Cameron's pitching staff has struck out 297 batters with teams hitting .243 this season.
