Aggies hit the diamond to face Southeastern

The Starting Five
1.    This will be Cameron's second trip to Durant in six years, Cameron's last visit was during the 2013 season for a single nine inning contest.  The Savage Storm would win 9-3, no Aggie player on the current roster played in that contest.
2.    Outside of Lawton, Saturday's game is only one of two that the Aggies will play within the state of Oklahoma; CU is slated to play in Weatherford on April 21 for a nine inning game.
3.    Cameron will be on the road for 10 of their next 14 contests.
4.    The Aggies have four pitchers who has a combined 0.77 ERA in 13 innings of work.
5.    Cameron was first to start their 2015 season in the Lone Star Conference.

CU Notebook
- Cameron's roster consists of over 30 new players to the program this spring who will be led by first year Head Coach Brady Huston.
- Brandon Wright is leading CU with a .667 batting average after a 2-3 outing against East Central.
- Justin Winters came off the CU bench with a clutch double in the night cap against East Central and had three RBI, including a game winning sacrifice fly.
- Codey Upton tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen on Saturday with two strikeouts. 
- Leadoff hitters are batting .235 against Cameron pitching this season, while lefties are batting .188.
- Cameron was picked sixth in the Lone Star Conference despite finishing two games back of fourth place during the 2014 season.
- In 2014, the Aggies had the most players to sign with professional organizations in the South Central region with three (Codey McElroy, Tobin Mateychick, and Drew Reidt).
- Brady Huston is only fourth different coach to lead the program in the last 39 seasons.

Southeastern Oklahoma (1-2)
- Southeastern dropped two of three in Laredo, Texas against Texas A&M-International last weekend.
- Kaleb Thomas leads SE at the plate after batting 5-8 with three RBI against A&M-International.
- Savage Storm starter's Nick Johnson and Dylan Linke had a solid outings with little run support, both pitchers combined for 11 2/3 innings of work, with one run given up, and eight strikeouts. 
- SE hitters are batting .221 at the plate with four players in their lineup combining for a 2-36 against A&M-International.  
- The Savage Storm were picked eighth in the Great American Conference after a seventh place finish in the GAC in 2014, and ending the year winning seven out of their last nine contests.
- Southeastern Oklahoma is led by lone time head coach Mike Metheny, who had been with the program since 1981; Metheny is 1,261-602 and has top spot among active D-II coaches in victories.

Last Time Out
- Cameron split their season opener on Jan. 30 against East Central with the Tigers winning game one 6-1, and the Aggies winning in the bottom of the tenth, 7-6.
- Logan Fanning earned CU's first win of the season pitching two innings of relief.
- Jonathan Reyes had a .500 OBP in the doubleheader against the Tigers with a pair of hits and walks in the leadoff spot.
- The Aggies season opener was the earliest start in program history.

Coming Up
Cameron will host a four game series with Northwest Missouri State starting with single nine inning game this upcoming Friday, then a doubleheader header (7/9) on Saturday, and final nine inning game on Sunday.
