Game Notes: After inclement weather hit Lawton on Wednesday, the series against Texas A&M-Kingsville was pushed back a day and is now scheduled as a four game series occurring Mar. 7-9. Saturday will be a single nine inning game starting at 2 p.m., while Sunday will be two seven inning games starting at 1 p.m., and Monday will be the series finally with one nine inning game starting at 1 p.m.
The Starting Five1.   Cameron lost all seven of their contests against the Javelinas last season, including three games at McCord Field.
2.   This series with the Javelinas will be the first sight of conference action for the Aggie faithful this season, and it is the third overall home series for CU.
3.   The first, second, fifth, and sixth innings have been trouble spots for CU with 55 runs given up, while their scoring is spread throughout the first seven innings, with 12 runs scored in the third and 10 in the fifth and seventh innings.
4. Â Â Â CU is tied for first in the LSC with eight triples and leads the league with 66 walks, while giving up 65 walks to opponents.
5.   Angelo State and McMurry played each other earlier this season in a two game series that was split, with ASU winning game one 8-4, and McMurry winning game two 3-2.

Tyler Cook is leading CU with a .357 batting average, and has a team leading 15 hits, 20 total bases, and a .491 on base percentage.

Logan Fanning has commanded his role as a closer. He currently has an ERA of 1.35 and leads the team with 2 saves. He has allowed 4 hits and 1 run this season.
-Cameron was picked sixth in the Lone Star Conference despite finishing two games back of fourth place during the 2014 season.
-In 2014, the Aggies had the most players to sign with professional organizations in the South Central region with three (
Codey McElroy,
Tobin Mateychick, and
Drew Reidt).

Brady Huston is only fourth different coach to lead the program in the last 39 seasons.
Texas A&M-Kingsville (9-6)-The Javelinas are currently 3-1 in conference, after taking down West Texas A&M at home last week. They then fell to Houston-Victoria, 7-8 on March 4th.
-TAMUK is hitting .290 as a team, has a .405 slugging percentage, a .365 on base percentage, 88 runs scored, and 38 extra base hits.
-Javelina pitchers have a team ERA of 4.58, have struck out 113 opposing batters, and are holding them to a .249 batting average.
-Hayden Vesely leads the team with a .371 batting average. He reaches base 50 percent of the time and has reached safely in 10 straight games. He also has a six-game hit streak. He currently has 13 hits and 9 RBIs.
-Hayden James is 2-2 this season with an 2.95 era. He has struck out 19 batters and only allowed 8 runs and 13 hits.
Last Time Out-Last weekend the Aggies dropped all four games to #5 Angelo State on the road.

Jonathan Reyes recorded a total of 6 hits in the series, along with 3 runs. He hit 2 doubles and gained 3 RBIs.

Matt Nilmeyer and
Tyler Cook were both able to get 4 hits. Cook hit in 3 RBIs and scored once himself.
-In game four,
Nolan Withrow pitched 8 innings and went through five innings only allowing one hit.

Dirk Masters recorded 6 strikeouts in 5 innings pitched, and
Zach Cordell got 7 strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
Coming UpCameron will kick off a two week road trip next weekend as they head to Tarleton State for a four game series, Mar. 13-15.
