Truly a local legend, Herb Jacobs was a writer for The Lawton Constitution from 1959-2002, and still contributes weekly pieces to the paper. Jacobs has given 42 years of full-time service to area athletics and has continued to remain an accomplished sportswriter since his official retirement. Through his media work, Jacobs' contributions to the Cameron Aggie athletic programs has been immeasurable. Jacobs possessed the distinction of being the only inductee to be listed on multiple nominations.
