Svajlen, who came to Cameron from Bratislava, Slovakia, was named an All-American and an Academic All-American in both 2008 and 2010. He was a three time Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year in 2007, 2008, and 2010. Svajlen served as a pro at the BlackSeaRoma Golf and Vilas in Bulgaria and is affiliated with the Best Swing Golf Academy. He has also competed in many professional tournaments and still does as of his induction.
