Cameron University Athletics

A two sport student-athlete in volleyball and basketball, Smith was an outside hitter on volleyball teams that won 41 matches in 1978 and 40 matches in 1979. She helped guide the Aggies to two consecutive OAIAW State Championships, averaging more than 15 points per game. Smith's career high of 44 points in one game ties her for first place in Cameron's all-time rankings. She was a member of the volleyball coaching staff that won the 1980 NAIA District IX Championship and appeared as a national finalist.
