Cameron Athletics Hall of Fame
Celebrated coach Raymond "Red" Miller was head men’s basketball coach from 1965-67 and again from 1970-1977. Under his coaching, the 1966 team won the Region II Championship and finished second at the National Tournament. In 1967, Coach Miller's team again won Region II and finished third at the National Tournament. Adding to his list of accomplishments, in 1971 the team finished fourth in the Oklahoma Collegiate Conference and won the Southwestern All Sports Classic. Miller also won the Southwestern All Sports Classic in back-to-back years in 1972 and 1973. His 1973 team won the Top of Texas Tournament and was the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference Champion. Coach Miller retired from coaching in 1977 and from teaching on the Physical Education faculty at Cameron in 1985.
